I am looking for a large nicely framed chalkboard for my kitchen, but those coasters are too cool.

Ms. Givens! If you're handy, you can use a piece of plywood or any other thin board, paint it with chalkboard paint and trim with inexpensive crown molding. In fact, I know they can cut all of this at The Home Depot for you!

Oh my goodness! Love the coasters! Such a cute idea... Husband framed in an old doorway in our kitchen, added plywood and painted with chalkboard paint. Now, I'm loving my new chalkboard!

Mary, we have so many things in our house painted with chalkboard paint, including cute little terra cotta pots where I can change the letters and spell words like F-A-L-L which is my favorite season!

Gingerbread Lattes Beth? Sounds yummy!
